Throughout the years we have focused on our Values, reducing the impact on the environment and being engaged with our communities. Corporate Social responsibility is instilled in our Vision, our strategies, and management goals. The ethical standing of the Organization is evident in the unquestioned credibility it has patiently built over the years with all its stakeholders. In fact, just like ethical practices and creation of a healthy workplace environment, Corporate Social Responsibility is embedded in our culture.

We are involved in a wide variety of community development and environment projects. Our social activities relate to Better living (specifically truck drivers), environment, health, primary education, skills training and entrepreneurship, livelihoods, women empowerment and strengthening services for the differently - abled.

The key purpose of this CSR policy is to:

  • Define what CSR means to us and society
  • Identify broad areas of intervention in which the company will undertake projects.
  • Our purpose to provide better lives to truck drivers, safe service to customers and make India go green.


We are committed to integrating environmental, social and ethical principles into the core business, thereby enhancing long-term stakeholder value and touching the lives of everyone we deal with. Our CSR programmes aim to be relevant to local, national and global contexts, keep disadvantaged communities as the focus, be based on globally - agreed sustainable development principles and be implemented in partnership with governments, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders.

Towards our Communities:

The CSR approach adopted envisages that the group evolves and executes strategies to support communities in partnership with affiliates, partners, government, civil society and relevant stakeholders. Key to this approach is our employees who generously give of their time, experience and talent to serve communities; senior management encourages and facilitates them to do so. We will involve communities surrounding our operations to bring about a positive change in their lives through holistic, sustainable and integrated development.

Towards our Customers:

We will build a gainful partnership with the customers to understand their needs and provide right, timelines, quality delivery, and service solutions; we will adopt and actively encourage the best and fair business practices and shall endeavor to build solid bonds with them.

We will support our suppliers to cultivate ethical and fair business practices and give preference over other to those who demonstrate this.

CSR Mainstay

Tecso Global foundation:

TECSO GLOBAL FOUNDATION was incorporated on 7th September 2016 under the Companies Act, 2013. It was established by Mr. Kartikey Hariyani and Ms. Kinnari Hariyani with a motive to Promote Education, Protect Environment, and Eradicate Poverty etc.

The main objectives of TecSo Global Foundation are:-

  • To Promote education among children, elderly and the differently able persons in the field of Commerce, Art, Science, Sports, Education, Research, Social welfare, religion, charity, protection of Environment.
  • Special Education and Employment enhancing Vocation Skills especially and livelihood enhancement projects.
  • Eradicate hunger, poverty, and malnutrition.
  • Promote preventive health care and sanitation.
  • Making available sage drinking water.
  • Gender equality.
  • Empowering women
  • Setting up homes and hostels for women and orphans, setting old age homes, day care centers and such other facilities for deserved mankind and measures for reducing inequalities faced by socially and economically backward groups.
  • Ensuring environmental sustainability, ecological balance, protection of flora and fauna, animal welfare, agroforestry, conservation of natural resources and maintaining a quality of soil, air, and water.
  • Protection of national heritage, art and culture including restoration of buildings and sites of historical importance and works of art.

Key focus areas of CSR Initiatives at HelloLoads

1. GO Green

HelloLoads planted trees at Sardarbaug on 1st July 2016. In a viewpoint to protect Environment the first initiative by TecSo Global Foundation was to plant trees. Planted trees like Asopalav, Neem, and Banyan Tree etc.

2. Support Drivers

We are committed to Safety. Operating safely, responsibly and reliably is a key principle in HelloLoads Code of Conduct. Given that India accounts for the largest number of road accidents in the world, the Company has been focused on driving safety for all its key stakeholders and considers training drivers as its flagship pillar.

As part of CSR Road safety measures, we are promoting a campaign for safe 4 wheeler riding. CSR will promote Road safety kiosks and campaign engaging Tesco Global Foundation in fun-filled educational activities like customized snakes & ladders game on the theme of road safety, wearing drunken goggles to understand how alcohol impairs riding ability and attempting RTO Sample Test for learner’s license. Volunteers will also take a pledge on their commitment to Road Safety. Multiple videos on road safety are created to educate our truck drivers.

3. Work Healthy

Good management of work health safety and the environment is an essential part of doing business today. At CSR, we regard management of work health safety and environment as an integral and fundamentally important part of our business. We believe that all injuries, occupational illnesses, and environmental incidents can be prevented.

Our managers are held accountable for work health safety and environmental performance, and all employees are expected to take personal responsibility for their actions, and to be involved in improvement initiatives and developing and setting standards.

We have adopted a common approach across the company to managing work health safety and environment. All businesses are required to implement these standards. There are strict policies for employees to ensure the safety and well-being of all people on CSR sites. We recognize that we get the best results by involving the people that do the work in analyzing risks and defining the best way of doing the work.

Saving of Resources

The theme of "conservation of natural resources" is seamlessly blended into our ways of thinking, planning and working. We strive on saving fuel by choosing the shortest routes to the destination point and taking maximum advantage of shared transportation. We, thus, came up with a revolutionary concept of transportation via our humongous specially-designed Household Carriers, which allow two consignments' transportation at a time to the destination place. Our drivers are trained in such a way that they use the minimum required oil while driving the trucks so that we do not waste the natural resources in any possible way.


The mode of implementation of CSR programs will include a combination of direct and indirect implementation through HelloLoads or working with partners Tecso Global. HelloLoads use the services of internal teams, expert agencies, consultancy firms etc., wherever required for carrying out baseline surveys, guidance on project design and implementation, due diligence of implementation partners, impact assessment surveys etc. HelloLoads will encourage employees and independent distributors for volunteering in community service.

Monitoring and Reporting Framework

HelloLoads will institute a monitoring and evaluation mechanism to ensure that each CSR program has:

  • Defined objectives developed out of the societal needs
  • Defined targets, timelines and measurable parameters, wherever possible

The Committee will periodically monitor the CSR spend programs and activities undertaken. Monitoring activities may include monthly field visits, comprehensive documentation, periodic reports from implementing agencies and regular interaction with beneficiary communities.

The Director will report CSR performance in its annual reports per structure and format prescribed in notified CSR rules.


A specific budget is allocated for CSR initiatives. This budget is project driven and may be allocated by the Board and the CSR committee based on the prioritization and impact assessment of the focus areas.


The Policy is effective since January 2017.
